Quite often I come home from vacations with some gorgeous scenic images, but when it comes to images of the people I love, all I have is a set of some pretty lacking selfies. I think we have gotten pretty good at it…but still. I was craving some gorgeous images that included flattering angles of my very favorite people.

Then, the clouds parted and the sun shone down and lit up my world when my sister referred me to Flytographer. A bit dramatic? I think not.

Flytographer Reviews: Olga in Paris

Before our Photo Shoot

The process was so seamless and easy. We browsed the Flytographer website and carefully looked over the gallery and reviews provided for each photographer. Once we chose Olga, we were assigned a concierge who ensured that all questions were answered and that our arrangements were set. We also answered specific questions such as how much guidance we wanted in regards to posing and what words described the style of session we wanted. I chose “sweet, natural, romantic.”

Flytographer offers several different lengths of photo sessions and we chose to book for a one hour shoot. Options begin at 30 minutes which would be perfect if you have the attention spans of young children to consider!

We were put in touch with Olga who helped us confirm our photo location based on preferences and she advised the best time and place to meet based on her extensive experience shooting in that area. We were given her cell phone number in case of a last minute question or issue.

Flytographer Photo Session in Paris

During our Photo Shoot

We met with our photographer, Olga, at the Eiffel Tower at sunrise. We met her 10 minutes before our shoot was to begin in order to confirm preferences and the process. It was so worth the early alarm clock to watch the world wake up in such a beautiful city. Trocadero is an extremely popular and busy tourist location (rightly so-it’s stunning!) so a sunrise shoot is the only way to ensure that you can capture the essence of the place without a million photo bombing people.

After several poses and shots near the Trocadero, we walked a few minutes down the path to get a few photos from another view on Avenue de Camoens. Unfortunately, construction blocked the exact shot I was hoping for there, but Olga handled it beautifully and delivered other compositions that we love just as much.

Olga made us feel so comfortable during our shoot. She was incredibly sweet and amazingly talented. Her husband was with her acting as her assistant and it is our understanding that she often joins him on his shoots as his assistant as well. it was extra special working with a husband and wife team and ensured that no detail was missed.

After Your Photo Shoot:

Flytographer promises that you will receive your digital files within 5 days of your photo shoot. From our experience, we have received a sneak peek photo within 2 days andย  the full collection within 3-4 days. We love receiving a sneak peek before we even leave our trip! Somehow it makes leaving just a little bit easier when you know you have your trip captured so beautifully. We are in love with our beautiful images and will treasure them forever.

Their platform is SO simple to use:

  1. Visit Flytographer.com. Choose your city. Browse the galleries of the photographers in that city. Choose the one you love and send in an inquiry. You are quickly assigned a concierge who helps you through the process of pinning down the details. Your photographer will quickly confirm availability and help you choose a location if you need advice.
  2. Meet your photographer at the time of your session. You smile and laugh your way through your photo session (either as a solo traveler or with your family or friends).
  3. Wait only 5 days (often not long enough to even get home), and you receive your beautiful digital files in your inbox. Smile and reminisce and your heart soars that your memories are so beautifully captured. You tell your family and friends that you have discovered the best souvenir ever!
  4. You then start planning your next trip based on where you would like to book your next Flytographer photo shoot (oh, is that just me?).

The photos are INCREDIBLE!! Definitely will try to use them on a trip somewhere for a new experience, however I’m not sure how it’ll be since I’m very camera shy. Was it your first time with a professional photographer, or have you done something similar before?? I’m usually the one behind the camera, so it seems a little awkward for me to be in the images themselves. Lovely post! ๐Ÿ™‚

Thank you so much! We have done a couple of family photo shoots before but never anything like this. I would highly recommend going out of your comfort zone and trying it out! I am so sure you will be glad that you did. ๐Ÿ™‚ The photographers are amazing and really make you feel comfortable. You can choose to pose yourselves or have them tell you what to do and we chose for them to tell us exactly what to do. So she did and we were thrilled with how they turned out!

These pictures turned out fantastic! It was interesting to hear about such services and so much better than asking a random strange to take a picture for you. There’s been too many times when I asked someone to take a picture and I’m half way cut out or the scenery behind me is missing. haha

Ah I love this! I completely agree that having beautiful photos of the places you’ve been just finishes off the trip perfectly. This is such a cool idea of matching you with local photographers. I can imagine this is really great for couples who are here on honeymoon, or who have just got engaged. Oh and I have to say how great you guys look – that B&W photo at the end could be in a magazine! <3

This is a brilliant idea! Itโ€™s true that we take so many photos of famous landmarks but we tend to forget to get family or couple photos. Youโ€™re photographs from Paris are amazing! I will have to check out Flyphotographer for our next trip!

Am hearing about Flytographer for the first time TBH. And the name is so catchy. Love the concept behind the company, and having professionally clicked photos from around the world where one travels, is the best thing ever. Definitely going to refer it to others, and will check it out myself as well.

Wow I visited Paris in April and can’t imagine these destinations so devoid of crowd. All your pictures look like covers of a movie and you two look gorgeous. I’ll share this with my sister who is going for honeymoon soon

Thank you so much! This would be an amazing addition to a honeymooon! Sunrise is the perfect time to beat the crowds! The alarm went off way too early but it was sooo worth it! Had we just wanted to experience Trocadero at sunrise without a photographer scheduled, we would have definitely turned off the alarm, went back to sleep, and missed out on this amazing experience. It was so very worth it!

Hi Sarah! Thank you! We had Olga and absolutely loved her! She is married to Kirill and he came along too but she took all of the photos. I highly recommend her. Are you going to Paris soon? Hope you have an amazing trip, if so!
